Let language follow the visitor
Use the website language as the first signal and allow visitors to change it. A saved preference can be useful, but it should not override an explicit choice.
Design for flexible text
Labels can become much longer or shorter after translation. Components should expand naturally instead of relying on fixed widths.
- Support right-to-left layout as a system, not a page exception.
- Use locale-aware dates and numbers.
- Keep brand and channel names consistent.
- Review important translations with native speakers.
Respect regional channel preferences
